How long will the photo shoot take?

Depending on the size of the home and how well prepared the home is for the photo shoot, a standard listing requires between1and 1.5 hours. Homes that have unique architectural or special details could take closer to 2 hours to be sure those details are captured properly.

Can I schedule weekend appointments?

Yes, appointments can be scheduled 7 days a week.  

What steps should the homeowner take to prepare their home for a photo shoot?

No matter how good the quality of the photography, if the home is not adequately prepared for the photo shoot, it will not show well. A comprehensive guideline to preparing a home for a professional photo shoot may be viewed Here or downloaded and printed for the homeowner to use.

What sizes and types of images will I receive and how?

All images are delivered at full resolution (for print marketing), as well as 72 dpi suitable for uploading to the MLS and social media websites. These will all be made available to you via a link emailed to you.

When will I receive my photos?

Final images will be delivered no more than 48 hours after the shoot (in most cases within 24 hours). Once the images are processed, you will receive an email with a link to access the photographs.

 

Do I need to be present at the shoot?

Access to the property will need to be provided, but you do not need to be present. However, it is recommend you be there at the beginning of the shoot to walk through to see for yourself how things look and make any changes needed prior to the start of shooting. You may also want to point out special details that should be included in the shoot.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel a shoot?

Situations may arise making it necessary to reschedule a shoot such as inclement weather. For bad weather days, we will work with clients to reschedule at the next available opportunity at no additional cost.

However, if a client asks to reschedule/cancel within 12 hours of the set appointment, if the photographer arrives on site and the home is not ready for the shoot, or if the property is not accessible, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged.

Is there a fee for travel?

A travel fee is not charged for any location within 35 miles (one way) of 03867. An additional fee of $20 applies for distances over 70 miles round trip to help defray the cost of gas and time spent driving to and from the shoot location.

What are your licensing terms? Who owns the images?

All fees reflect the limited use of the images by the listing Real Estate Agent/Broker or in some cases the homeowner – whoever is paying for them. During the period of time you have an active listing, you can use the images however you wish, to promote and advertise the property, including posting on MLS, Realtor.com, or other web sites, ad placements in on-line and print media, post cards, flyers, brochures, banners, billboards, etc. Once the home sells or if the listing is terminated for any reason, all rights to the use of the image expires. 

With permission, agents/brokers may use images after a sale on their website to showcase or document past sales- Provided they are not transfering, or using the images for any other purpose.

In all cases we maintain full intellectual property rights to all images produced during the photography session.

Manipulation or alteration of original images sent is prohibited.
